Ethiopia Skate is a community organization that was formed in 2013 at a vacant parking lot in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. They work to empower youth through mentorship, by providing access to skateboard materials, and building public skateparks. Their community consists of over 150 skateboarders in Ethiopia’s capital and other towns across the country, with many more eager to join.
