Santa Monica Airlines 10" x 34.75" (SMA) EL ZEP FLYING CHILI PEPPER Skateboard Deck

Santa Monica Airlines (SMA) was founded in 1978 in the back of Zephyr’s surf shop.

 

The SMA Chili Pepper deck, in its vibrant pink and blue color, measures 34.74 inches in length and 10 inches in width, with a 17.25-inch wheelbase. This reissue not only offers a nod to SMA’s rich history but also caters to both old-school collectors and new generations of skaters. A standout in SMA’s history is the craftsmanship of Skip Engblom. His approach to creating skateboards was far from mere assembly; it was a craft driven by passion and precision, reflecting his deep commitment to skateboarding and its culture.
